The CHSS Varsity girls hockey season thus far has been a season of ups and downs for the girls. With two wins out of the gate against Madill and South Huron, the team was flying high and battling for a spot in the top of the standings. The next four games were tough for the team. The scoreboard doesn’t always reflect the play of the game, as the girls played well but was unable to find a victory.
With a break from the ice over the holidays and some line juggling by Coach Adams, the team got their swagger back with a great effort against second place Madill, a 2-2 tie and a very much needed point in the standings.
With one regular season game left, the team is in the hunt for a third place standing and a birth in the Huron Perth Athletic Associations Varsity Playoffs.
