Anxiety about heading back to school is common.

Clean Clinton is our CHSS group of science students who are aiming to reduce plastic waste, following in the footsteps of Eco-Exeter at SHDHS and Blue Bayfield. Usually it is a grade 9 science class or two that take this on, but we are changing things up this semester.

This semester, the SVN3E/SNC4E class received a $500 grant from Learning for a Sustainable Future to reduce plastic waste so they have created some action projects to spend some cash!

The special guest was Hayley Morin who is an emerging filmmaker from the Enoch Cree Nation.

Hayley has been able to showcase stories from her culture through short films such as "The Crying Fields" and "Buffalo Bill" and has most recently begun working on a feature length documentary funded by Telus Media.
